Recently, Glasgow Care Foundation was delighted to be chosen by Pied Piper Nursery part of the CC Nurseries group, as beneficiaries of their family fun day.

The team at Pied Piper put together a fun day for the children who attend. They brought their grown ups in on a Saturday to take part in activities and have lots of fun, with all proceeds being given to Glasgow Care Foundation.

The work we do often focuses on supporting families. Research has shown that children living in poverty have worse educational outcomes and so early intervention can really affect the trajectories of the families we support. It is incredibly heartening to see young children and their families engaging in activities that benefit people like them, but who are facing particular challenge and difficulty. This is such a good way to inspire future generations of philanthropy and install social conscience from an early age.

A huge thank you- and huge well done- to all the staff, children and parents at Pied Piper Nursery for the event. They raised an impressive £1245.73 for Glasgow Care Foundation!
