GCF Schools Initiative Grants

Apply for a GCF Schools Initiative Grant

To support children living in poverty, Glasgow Care Foundation has started a GCF Schools Initiative to allow Glasgow schools to apply for grants for:

  1. Individual pupils suffering from hardship to further their educational needs.
  2. Monies to be used by the school own-administered hardship fund.
  3. Funds for a specific project to alleviate the effects of poverty on school pupils.

The application form below should be completed paying particular attention to the request for information about how you will use the grant, if awarded. Our funds are primarily for the benefit of Glasgow. If your School is out with GCC unfortunately we cannot help.

Our Committee meets five times per year and your application will be reviewed at the first meeting after receipt of your application form or within 4 weeks, whichever comes first. Successful applications will be paid via bank transfer.
