As the holidays approach we need all the help we can get to entertain the kids! We
have collated a list of 10 of our favourite free activities in Glasgow. Do you have more

1. Elder Park Junior Parkrun

Elder Park Junior Parkrun is a weekly, free 2km timed run held on Sunday mornings at Elder
Park!

2. Bookbug

Bookbug offers free, fun and friendly sessions in libraries around Glasgow for babies, toddlers
and children under 5 years of age accompanied by their parents and/or carers. 

3. Mini Museum Explorers

Explore Glasgow’s museums with your 3-5 year olds in this fun session, with a mix of free play
and structured activity to enjoy together. 

4. Free Art Classes for 12-18 Year Olds

The Language Hub are running art classes, aimed at 12 – 18 year olds, who are interested in
learning, creating and expressing themselves through art.

5. Baltic Street Adventure Playground Family Sessions

Baltic Street Adventure Playground is a supervised adventure playground for children from 6 to
12 years. Younger children are welcome with a carer or guardian and it is free to enter and
play!

6. Play Cafe

Each week we will offer a craft activity or floor games, for children aged 5-11 years old.

7. Tollcross Children’s Farm

Entry is free and the farm has lots of animals including pigs, goats, horses, ducks, and chickens
to see.

8. Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum

Interesting and interactive displays to keep parents and kids amused. The Mini Museum caters
specifically for younger children.
